Investigation Reports

We send a copy of the final report of each investigation to the complainant and the body complained about.   It is a public document which we lay before the Scottish Parliament in accordance with Section 15 of the SPSO Act.

Each compendium of Reports is accompanied by the Ombudsman's Commentary, in which she highlights trends and issues brought out by the investigations.  This is one way in which we feed back the learning from complaints, in order to improve the delivery of public services.
